movie score-type songs

I have a mission for you guys :]

I need a background song for a documentary I'm making on the Kent State Shooting, for most of it's length.
I've looked at some motion picture scores, which are similar to what I'm looking for, but I haven't found one suitable yet.

So does anyone know of a background-type song that is rather somber/not upbeat at all. No lyrics/voices; must be all instrumentals. I don't know if this is the correct place to post this, so advise me otherwise.

I used this soundtrack a ton when creating a suspense/thriller film last year, worked awesome.
You could also try ambient bands like Helios, Stars of the Lid, The Abbasi Brothers, etc.

best score from any movie is The Fountain score

not sure if it would work for you though. check it out at least, really amazing, especially Death Is The Road To Awe.
