I've heard that this is stirring up quite a bit of controversy in the UK at the moment. I really want to see it. I don't know what sort of theatrical release it will be getting stateside though.

Thought this would be a biopic on the American badass Charles Bronson.. nonetheless this looks pretty interesting.

From what I've read about it it's based on a real person who's considered the UK's most violent prisoner, who... well I don't think he thinks he's Charles Bronson but he sort of based himself off of him.

attempted to watch this about a month ago and only made it half way through. Tom Hardy owns the film, almost single handed, but its just a tad too weird for me. it wouldn't have stood out as much, but with a little more basic setup this could of been something really great.

The controversy isn't about the film itself. Most of the controversy that I have heard about is from a soundbite that played at the Premiere of the film that was the actual "Bronson" talking about the movie itself. They never got permission to record or to use his voice and a lot of officials were very mad.

Bizarre movie but quite good. Other than knowing who it starred I really had no clue what this was about, so to say I was pleasantly surprised at its absurdity would be an understatement. Hardy was fantastic.

Been meaning to get to this. Especially after seeing Hardy steal the show in Inception. It's soooo far down in my queue though.
