Just ordered my iPod Video

Since there are so many threads about the iPod...so many questions popping up...I thought it would be pretty cool to write a review on it...from my perspective of it, at least...if you guys would like one, Id be more than happy to write one up when it comes in this weekend...let me know

I actaully got my uncle to order it for me...he's a big rep at rutgers university for computers...so I got a good 50 dollar discount...and was told it would ship in 1-3 days

So I should be getting it either by this saturday or monday at the latest

When I ordered mine it said it would ship in three days as well, then it would be here w/i five days...so i'm hoping by this weekend or early next week as well...when did you order yours?

Well, I had just sold mine as I made this thread...and I called my uncle to tell him to order one for me...so i am assuming he either ordered it online, or is just going to go to the store and give them his discount number or whatever...

Torrents ;) ... there's people out there spending day and night just converting shitloads of TV shows and movies...the only problem I hear is that you can only get two hours of video out of the battery :(

Videora is CRAP do not use it. Use nero recode, just get a crack for it or fuck even use the demo. But do not use videora its shit I converted 20 videos none of them worked and they were all with different settings. :-X

my screen is already like scrathed to shit. I dont care though because its an ipod i bought it to play music not to watch videos. I only got it because the store I went to was selling them for the same price as the 20 gig and the video is 30 gig but now the 20 gig is 50 bucks cheaper. I shpuld probably get a case.

Used it on 49 videos that I have...not once did it fail me

if you have something bigger like a movie, expect it to be shorter. I watched Batman Begins on it and it died after about 1hour 45min.

I want one SO BAD. I told my mom I wanted one for my birthday, but she just laughed. I think that was a no.
I may end up caving in and putting it on a Best Buy credit card. Or maybe an Apple credit card, since I'm a student and I'd get a small discount.

ebay has a bunch of good cases...as soon as i get mine, I am probably going to pick a rubber skin thing for about 10 bucks..see how that works out

yeah it does but it is a solid white case, you have to take the ipod out of the case to see the screen and for the most part to use the controls as well. I want a case that is see through like the Agent18 cases for all the other ipods.

it should recognize all your videos...it did all of mine, except for one..which was the only non-music video one, a comedy skit by russell peters...so i am going to look into that, maybe download a different version...

And it should work for punkrock vids, i had four or five from there, and they worked fine..try this method, if not, id say go for another program
