I'm not, simply because it doesn't mean anything to me

i had a friend who used to say she loved me (platonically) all the time... it's soo awkward trying to reply without saying it back and not offending them haha

I agree, you can't love someone after a week teenagers are lame.

I am afraid of it only when it is used out of context.

Agreed. That's what I though this thread was going to be about.

i'm not afraid of it, but i laugh when you hear people say that when they're going out and then a week later they break up

absolutely scared of. never said it (and meant it) to anyone...including my family. its weird. theres no such thing as love at my age. anything I say about it is purely observant.

love is a word to be afraid of, you just dont tell anyone that you love them

It shouldn't be something to be scared of. I'd say it all the time if I could, shout it from the rooftops but unfornaturly teenagers think it's weird not to play mind games and just be honest. I hope when I'm older people are less retarded.

no need to be afraid of love...

but if you've been burned in the past i can understand why you would be

i use the word love but do i really mean love?

the thought of love makes me want to run away. love like the kind you dont give your dog, family, or even friends is what scares me.

i think i may honestly be too selfish to love, but i dont really even love myself

gawd whut a confused clusterfuck i am

hey, i'm only thirteen. no, but i mean somebody will just walk up in the hallway and go "I LOVE YOU!" or somebody who's going out with somebody... ex. my friends Chelsea and Will - have been going out for two weeks and Chelsea's always saying "i loooove Will!" it gets ridiculous.

ahaha Im 13. But I wont be in exactly a week

it is kinda ridiculous though...to the point where I want to beat my friends over the head and say "Youre not in love! Youre 13! Now please, put your clothes back on."

Love is just...not something I am really interested in at all.....Who has time for
the headaches, the breakups, the "I hate you"'s, the crap.
There's one girl who says she's in love with me, but I just wish she'd leave me alone.
Call me cynical, but love just is pointless. I mean, what's it get you? Happiness?
Or, in the end, depression?

I dunno. Maybe I'm wrong :)

I just think it's so silly when people are like "oooh I love you" and a few days after they break-up they're trying to hook-up with someone else. You wouldn't be doing that if you were in love.

say love way too often and then your significant other won't think anything of it!

I was dissapointed to find out that this thread wasn't about that show. Ahh the good ole Nickalodeon days. Damn....good times... Anyways I want to tell my girlfriend I love her ,but I don't know if I'm ready to tell her. I think I'll just let her say it.

ZOMG 150th post to!!! :o :o :o
