I like failure on a lot. But I completly agree.
They've become this martyr of sorts. it's odd.

Here's a video from this show for Death To Traitors if any of you are on the fence about buying it:

The kid floorpunching on stage (in b&w) is fucking hilarious.

great show but unfortunately the sound is pretty shite. anyone who was into them should check it out though, pretty cheap so it's worth it.

The band as a whole wasn't sXe. I think only Joe, the drummer, and Johnny, the bassist, were sXe. I know for a fact Josh, the lead singer, wasn't edge. I'm not sure about the other 2 guitarists though.

that kid is my friend's brother nic. he's like 15. he's pretty ridiculous.
but anyway, great show, great band. best thing to come out of kernersville, anyway. they are sorely missed.

i think beloved is one of the only indie/scene bands, within the "hardcore" or "emo" realm, that do what they do right.
at least they dont have a lame nujack high pitch screams like underoath.
they just wanted to be very heavy and very melodic, and they did just that. period.
