Got in with a presidential scholarship/honors college, not sure if I'm giong. Visiting april 4-5 for honors weekend.

I was going to visit, but I'd rather not miss school for the sake of exam exemptions. What do you think you might be studying?

Visit! We can have a mad chill session. I have no idea, either economics or english. Close to opposite sides of the spectrum, haha. I'm definitely highly considering tulane though, if I don't get into USC I'll probably end up there.

I applied there on a whim because the application was free and there was no essay. I got in and they're offering me a pretty substantial scholarship, but it turns out they don't have a nursing program so I'm staying in Michigan. ahhh I suck haha

They have a pretty awesome medical program. Are you going to U of M? I thought about applying there, but I really wanted to go somewhere warm and U of M is way too big.

I love Tulane and New Orleans. Will be applying next year. Too bad the crime/probablity of another hurricane is really shitty

It was chill, Tulane is awesome, but I'm not going there :{ My parents want me to either stay local or go to George Washington, laaame. We are going to have to be best friends later in our lives!

There is an awesome music scene there, I would recommend joining the radio station when you go. Oh and don't hang out with the kids in the honors program, I spent all weekend with them and they were pretty not tight.

What do your parents have against Tulane? You should persuade them to let you go since you already visited and you liked it. I was hoping to stay in Monroe anyway since the admissions counselor at the Tulane conference said some people transfer out of the honors dorm and wall because they feel isolated. I'm going there June 8th for the orientation, so hopefully the zoo across the street is awesome. But yeah, you should definitely rethink going there.

I'm going to Tulane next year and I'm from NH so I know NO ONE going there! I also applied on a whim with the free application, only considered it because I got a scholarship but when I visited I LOVED it. It seems like a really great school.
