This band has evolved so much over the last few years, it's kind of freaky. They just released their new EP this month, which is generating a lot of buzz in Sacramento. I stayed at their house during winter break. They happened to be taking a break from practicing for those two weeks. The inactivity gave me the impression that this band was slipping out, that they were going to break off into other projects soon. But this new EP changes my perception drastically. Their palette of sounds has grown tenfold in range since their last full length, with the new singer Julie, and the continuing growth of the strength in the syngery between percussionist Cliff Mattis and guitarists Jeff Wright and Matt Neilson. The result is the "It's a Big Bad World and I've No Guns to Fight With" EP.
Anyways, I really like this band, and this new EP makes me very curious about future releases!
