not to brag or anything* but i can't really count how many times i've seen butch walker (including when he was still with marvelous 3) i've caught him just about every time he's come to town in the past 3 years, including a few under-publicized special acoustic shows. always an excellent performance, i've honestly never seen someone put so much emotion and energy into every single live show, whether it was acoustic or full band.

THS is definitely in my new favorite record record department. Gatsby's and Let Go are up there as well. I don't love love love Butch, but the live show really is stupendous and I got friends that play in his band ... gotta give support to my hometown rockers!
