The problem is that underoath receives so much hate from people because of their outspoken religious views. Even if some people don't like either band, they'll vote against UO for that reason alone. They'll lose no matter who they're up against.

Underoath all the way. SoCo is pretty good but Underoath has really come a long way since their first record. Their amazing dudes too (listen to ap podcast interview). Very passionate about music. Whether you're christian or not, underoath consists of talented musicians and produces great music. Soco has catchy music but is the lesser of the two, imo.
