First of all this is NOT spam. this is a serious recommendation. (if you havnt already heard of them)

You guys should check out this band called "Red Car Wire"
in my opinion there the best pop punk band since Blink 182.

I really like them... They're pretty cool and have some sick songs I think.

But I think there are a lot on this site that don't like them? I could be wrong.

Anyways, I don't know if they are the best pop punk band since blink... You have NFG, Allister, The Movielife, bands like that in there... But I will say as far as pop punkish bands lately these guys are a ton better than lots of the bands coming out.

Mmm probably not the best pop punk band since Blink, but they are a very solid band. They play an awesome live show as well.

It's good to see them get some fans. I went to school with a guy in the band and he was so pumped about all the band's happenings all the time. It was pretty much all he cared about. Although, I wouldn't go as far as to saying they're the best since Blink.

Cuz they canceled their headlining tour, the one with FTSK, and got rid of all their dates.... Plus people were commenting on their MySpace saying that Zac from City Lights told them that they did....

Plus they never announced or posted anything about dropping off their HEADLINING tour... They just didn't show up at any dates and Freshman 15 was there.

I was thinking that. But maybe they couldn't/ didn't want to get a replacement right away for internal band reasons? It can't be Evan because he was posting like a day ago about "changes and new stuff for Bamboozle."

So, I saw it on Davey's facebook... Seems like he's been playing bass with Freshman 15 on the tour RCW dropped off of...

Seems weird they would take just a fill in bassist for the tour, why couldn't their own bassist play? And he's near the top of their myspace top friends, way higher than BJ(Freshman15's bassist). I mean, MySpace isn't really a good source so I have no idea. All speculation. But what could be going on?

Sucks so much. Glad Evan and Josh are continuing, and can't wait for warped and the new music. I REALLY hope they continue playing Timing and Kids In Love... That sucks just so much that I never got to see them as they were.

I had been writing a lot while on the road. The life experiences i've had in the last couple of years have cause me to grow up so much. I think our newer songs are a reflection of that. I'm so passionate about these songs, i've never had my heart in music like this before." -Evan.

Unfortunately, David wasnt ready to develop the bands former sound.

"We sat down and talked things over and decided it would be best for Dave if he found a band that he felt like HIS heart was in. And as much as it hurt us all to see him go, we respect his decision and completely support him. We're still friends, they're wasn't a fight or a falling out, he just wasn't happy with where we were going with the music. Thats totally respectable." -Evan.

Garett, after hearing David's decision, started rethinking his own life and is considering going to college. He's not sure what he wants to do, he's just not sure this is what he wants right now. He does, however, like the new music more than ANYTHING prior that RCW has created.
Wow thats really too bad. It also says on their myspace Evan sings/does piano? That's new... I REALLY hope they keep their old sound and don't really change it. But then again, if they do that why would Davey have not liked the way it was going... Now I'm a little skeptical about the new sound... We'll have to see. Hopefully they stick with the sound from the past 2 EPs.

Yeah, 'tis good they're continuing. That would suck a lot more if they weren't. And ohh man, they were so good live. I only saw them once, but they definitely exceeded my expectations.
It said on myspace that Davey wasn't happy with where the sound of RCW was going, or something like that, and that Garett might go back to college.

Looks like Davey may be in Freshman 15... Which has a RCW feel to it, so that would be a good fit then. And I really like their music too... Hopefully Evan won't stray too far away. Their myspace DOES say it has some new instruments... I'm predicting a new song before Bamboozle.

They DID say they have auditioned some new people. But I'm sure I would be a great fit! That or I guess my friend and I will just have to eventually start a real legit band like we want to and get signed that way... :shrug:

I think they do. For the most part, less poppy though. They definitely don't suck... I don't see how you could like RCW and think Avion Roe sucks... Unless you're just all about Freshman 15 like there's a rivalry or something.............
