It really makes me happy to see the Foo Fighters cd (http://ak.buy.com/db_assets/mini_ad_images/684/63981684.gif) sold over a million. It's such a good album. And the Electric/Acoustic thing is great.

I still need to get that at some point. I'm not a huge Foo Fighters fan, but I loved The Colour & The Shape. Definitely one of my favorite cd's of all time.

That's exactly how I am with being an avid FF fan. But this one is just so good. The first disc is all electric then the second is all acoustic. The second disc is what I study to now, it's also good to fall asleep to. But seriously, the first disc strait up rocks.
Check out FF on SNL this saturday (Nov 12th) THen on wendsday on I walk the line: A Night For Johnny Cash on CBS.

Cool, thanks for the heads up. Yeah, I knew about about the acoustic/electric bit, which is interesting. I'll get it at some point, maybe for Christmas. I've just finding cd's that I'm more interested in at this point. I actually just finished ordering another one. ;) hehe

Clap Your Hands Say Yeah - s/t: 1,555 (25,716)
this band is UNSIGNED. they finally got a distribution deal...but for awhile they were totally doing it by themselves...they got it in Virgin Megastore and Tower Records before this deal....soo its pretty impressive that they have sold about 25,000 copies overall.

Ummm sorry this is really random but... did anyone see that FOX has cancelled arrested development? I just think it's a shame cause that show was hilarious, and one of the better comedies on television right now.

i'm sad about Thrice's numbers. But I'm happy Sufjan is already at 70k...maybe he'll get to write albums for the other 48 states.
Imogen Heap - Speak For Yourself: 6,154 (6,163)
This CD just came out?! Those numbers are wayyy too low :(

The Click Five - Greetings From Imrie House: 6,045 (181,412)
They don't even deserve one copy sold.
I fully agree with the click five, but I give slipknot props for getting so many trash kids to buy into that shit. More power to them, they are laughing all the way to the bank.
i really wish ashlee would quit after her drop in numbers. i doubt it though cause her dad is insane.

just because you personally don't enjoy listening to a band, it doesn't change the fact that they have talent.

"Follow-up to 2004's 'Autobiography' from the actress turnedrock star. The rock metal sound of her debut album is a complete contrast to that of her pop-queen sister Jessica, but on this recording - unlike her first - this appears alongside moments of genuine melodic pop. The album was produced by John Shanks, who also worked on her debut. The single 'Boyfriend' is included."
This was the description for the new Ashlee Simpson album on amazon.co.uk ... her first was "rock metal"?

So the number you see shows how bad the music industry is doing. Fall Out Boy should have broken a million by now or at least 2 because that damn song is everywhere and so are they but I guess the rest of the cd is bad? Also you see all of the big celebs and the up and coming groups and they did dead awful. Bloc Party only sold 100K +, gezz how bad. Oh well! Now you know why all the people at labels are being fired. They need to fire some A&R guys because they need BETTER MUSIC! There are sooo many bands out there that should be on the radio that are not, oh well. Sucks to the industry!.
