I was just at the theater and it was Knowing or not seeing anything at all, so I went home.

I saw both and the obvious answer is I Love You Man. Knowing was fun til the last half hour which was full of "wtf" and "really?" followed by shaking my head

Fuck Nic Cage.

So as someone who has seen neither, I can bet that I Love You, Man would be a much better movie. For the reason that Knowing stars Nicholas Cage. STARS NICHOLAS CAGE.

What's wrong with nic cage?

He is a terrible actor. He keeps the same monotone voice throughout the entire movie and did I mention he's terrible?

The rule of thumb for Nicolas Cage is if it's released past Adaptation, don't see it. If before, most likely it's decent.
But yea, I Love You Man by a mile. It's depressing Alex Proyas has downgraded himself to Knowing.
you realize that knowing has nicholas cage in it right?

Cage is not good. Raising Arizona is a classic.

Paul Rudd >>> anything else
From now on, just base everything on this.

Cage is not good. Raising Arizona is a classic.
The last good movie he was in was Lord of War.

both were alright, depends on what you're in the mood for.
Knowing ended predictably & terribly, but i enjoyed the plot & the dark overtone. cage played the same character he plays in every movie, but it typically works for him, so it doesn't bother me like it used to.
I Love You, Man was clever at moments and pretty funny, but not hysterical.
i suggest just renting Frontier(s) :-)
