I actually saw them last night (first time with the new guy). And they were still damn good. And it has always been in my opinion that any band can replace a guitarist, but not a singer (or in this case a violinist). So without Ryan or Sean, they are nothing. Ben was a good guitarist, but he was replacable. And seeing them live on Friday, I couldn't even tell the difference.

It totally bombed and after the performance off stage Ben couldn't wait to rub it in to Ryan about how he knew that their cover blew donkey balls. Ryan couldn't handle that and things just degraded from there until YC had to kick Ben out of the band.

I agree with you in a way. I mean, regardless I'm still going to listen to Yellowcard. No one here should take it personal that Ben isn't in the band anymore. Ryan Key wasn't doing it to hurt your feelings.

I remmember when I saw them live for the first time Ben after that came over to me and we talked about music and everything. He was like the heart and all of the band. I think that these things happen. It happens to a lot of bands, and since Yellowcard is a lot bigger than most bands they are going to feel the wrath a lot more. But, that should be expected and I think they've done a hell of job working around it. I still have all my respect for this hard-working band, and only good things can come for them in the future.
