August Burns Red (http://www.augustburnsred.com)- Thrillseeker: Solid State gives us another gem in August Burns Red. Their debut, Thrillseeker, is a kick-you-in-the-ass, chaotic, brutal beatdown and one of the best metalcore releases of 2005. Do yourself a favor and pick this album up.
Nightmare Of You (http://www.nightmareofyou.com)- Nightmare Of You: It took me forever to get into this album, but this week it just clicked. Brandon Reilly's vocals are great and this is one of the best albums of 2005. If you haven't gotten this album yet, go get it. Now.
Wolf Parade (http://www.subpop.com/bands/wolf_parade/apologies)- Apologies To The Queen Mary: One of the better indie rock releases, it sounds a little Modest Mouse-ish, but that's ok, because this album is still very stellar. If you love indie-rock and/or Modest Mouse, you'll want this in your collection.
Cannary Rose (http://www.cannaryrose.net)- Figures, Statistics, or Make Believe: From Team Player Records, we get Cannary Rose, an pop-rock band from Minnesota. This release includes a little bit of emo, powerpop, indie, and progressive throughout the record. A very solid record that you all should give a listen to.
Other recs:
blink-182 Greatest Videos DVD: Remember your favorite band through their often humorous, sometimes serious, classic videos.
HARRY POTTER AND THE GOBLET OF FIRE IS IN THEATRES THIS WEEKEND, GO AND FLIPPIN SEE IT.
Tell your mom and dad that you love them.
Ball State Football (3 wins in a row! Amazing!)

So this week, I had some pals of mine from the forum give some recs.
Eda (MorningStar x0x): The French Kicks, one of my favourite bands.
Greg: Valencia
Lish (charly horse): Tokyo Rose- Because I can't stop listening to it. And, its just so catchy. Neon Blonde- because I love Johnny's voice, and I really like the beats of their songs.
Mark (apoemtothedead): Clone High- Best TV show to ever be on MTV and be cancelled within 6 episodes. There's been an official release in Canada on DVD. Street to Nowhere- www.mypsace.com/streettonowhere Amazing, beautiful music.
Drew (chaoticXpunk): Tristeza. If you like stuff along the lines of Explosions In the Sky.
Nick (note to sself): The Rocket Summer-After seeing this guy's live show, I have all the more appreciation for both him and his music. He puts on an amazing performance with energy that carries over to both of his CDs. It always makes you happy. Arrested Development Season 2: R.I.P. Commemorate this show by rewatching the entire second season.
Jamie (nobodysmonkey): The Faint, because dancing is fun and dancing to The Faint is the best.
Scott (aBetterDaysEnd): Get Up kids- : Live at the Grananda, because it reminds you of the greatness that was the Get Up Kids and how awesome they were live
Kevin (Northstar1245): Park, At The Drive-In, Pink Floyd, Audience Of One and old Zolof The Rock And Roll Destroyer!
Rick (Fullcollapse3k): Eric B. And Rakim - These guys launched a revolution, and their work is still excellent to this day. Also, "Playmakers" on DVD, such a great show.
Tristan (shiteater): tell people to listen to stevie wonder, he's badass. 'superstion' and 'i wish' have been playing all night.
Anton (tonton46): Midtown because it's universally good. You can listen to it at any time and enjoy them. Nintendo Revolution because it's going to be the only truly innovative console of the next generation and because there are a bunch of people on this website that would adore you for saying it.
Katie (hickpuff): Shigeru Miyamoto
