Reeeeally long night

Ok, so last night, a few friends and I went out drinking. I'll get rid of the fluff, and get straight to the point haha. Later on, we were back in my dorm, and a buddy of mine (Who was staying for the weekend) passed out on a couch in the basement lounge, and when somebody tried to wake him up and couldn't, they called the EMTs. So anyway, he's ok, obviously just passed out from the alcohol, and I got called down to the lounge with them all since he's my guest for the weekend. A cop asked to see my ID, which happened to be my old chalked learner's permit, and said he'd be taking that with him. I recall him saying something like "you have to get a new one," after mentioning how that was forgery of ID. I know it's only a misdemeanor, but seeing as I have never gotten into any trouble with the police before, how would this work? He didn't give me a ticket, or write me up or anything, but he does of course have my ID. Did I just get off easy, or am I going to wind up getting a citation in the mail (Or would I have known that on the spot?)?

I meant a chalked ID. Like, where colored pencils (usually) are used to change the DOB and all that. What I was really curious to know though was whether I would've found out on the spot if I was going to receive a court date or not. Would I just end up getting that in the mail, without the officer even mentioning it to me?

they probably took it away so you couldn't use it again. if you were going to be getting in trouble they most likely would have told you.

You will get some sort of notice if they charge you with anything. If he didnt give youa ticket, nothing has happened yet.

with your user name and sig, i saw a video in my french class called asterix or something close, who was a gaul who like needed a magic potion so his town wouldnt get defeated by the romans. it was all crazy racist with black people looking like monkeys and in french, which even after 3 years is gibberish to me. did you name your user name after it or is this one huge crazy coincidence?

yeah, Wisconsins starting to do that, make the IDs a lot harder to fake.....doesnt matter to me, im an old chick..already 21.

why the hell would you manipulate your id's d.o.b.? just get a real id from someone over 21 that looks vaguely like you and use that. and always ALWAYS carry the real one with you...d'oh!
