Below is a message from Daniel of Race the Sun (http://www.racethesunrock.com). The band had taken some time off due to Daniel's grandfather passing away:

Hey guys,

I wanted to send you guys a little something to thank everyone for your thoughts and prayers for my family and I. Things are well with me and even though i feel i need to be down here with my family the other half of me is very anxious to get back on that bus on thursday morning to Pittsburgh to continue on tour with my best friends. For those of you who came out to the shows that we couldn't make it to, thank you for understanding and the unconditional love and support. You guys have no idea how much i appreciate you! Something that i will never take for granted no matter how rough things get.

Yes they are awesome. I saw them on Sunday night and Daniel was trying to get me to go to the front and when I didn't he actually stepped off the stage and pulled me to the front to sing into the mic with him. Then after the show he came up, apologized for putting me in the spotlight and gave me a hug. They were all so nice. And the did a fabulous job of course!

His Grandfather passed away last week. Very sad, however he is back out again now with the band.

I just saw them, lets see...a half hour ago and they freakin rocked. Great Band!

yeah i talked to daniel the first night back on his tour...hes doing just great..me and him are tight haha..no seriously..he is good friends with my brother

i think we need some brooms in this forum to sweep up the names that were dropped.

one of my favorites. best dudes ever, and honestly one of the best live acts i've seen in a very long time. i'm so psyched about their new material. and they're definitely the best pop-punk around right now.
