1. I thought Drive-Thru hated Senses Fail. I guess this doesn't stop them from attempting to make money off of the band.
2. Are any of these bands even on Drive-Thru? It looks like they are all on Geffen. Nice try though.
3. Is there any point to buying this? They are all released songs from over 5 years ago, give or take. It's not like its helping to get the word out on new bands.
4. Word.

kinda worthless unless its some sort of gift for a musically shelteed child, and it that case it would be easier to burn a cd anyways

As far as I know and from what I am understanding, this is a Geffen thing. I guess the only thing DTR is apart of is the name, thus why all of the DTR/Geffen bands are on it including Senses Fail. Richard and Stef would never allow them to be apart of a greatest hit album actually being put out by Drive-Thru. And where the fuck is Rx Bandits and The Movielife. I would at least expect them on there.

it would be awesome if drivethru would update their page. its been behind for a long time now. and they took down all the media. almost like theyre kinda going under slowly. but then. some of my favorite bands started out on this lable. i think i have all those songs on one cd or another somewhere.

They don't even mention midtown.
Fueled by Ramen is the "New" Drive-Thru
I am all talk

atleast put on songs that were released by the artists while they were on drive thru. I really like both of those something corporate songs but I would have expected "if you C Jordan"

Didn't DTR break off of Geffen? Maybe they have to release so many CD's before they break off.. Does any one know?

first of all no rx bandits...
who the fuck is hellogoodbye? (sarcastic)
fans first my ass....bitchs sign the latest trend.
yeah...besides this whole thing being a joke...the biggest joke of all is no rx bandits.
also, when the e-card switches to "bedroom talk" it's hiliarious.

Drive-Thru is not on Geffen. From what I got out of this Starting Line, Finch, Something Corporate, New Found Glory are part or were part of Drive-Thru and Geffen. The rest are songs directly from Drive-Thru. I don't think Drive-Thru had a say besay in the tracklisting. I think it is more since Blink broke up and released a greatest hits geffen figured since Drive-Thru isn't with us anymore and they made us good money let's try and get more since they aren't with us. Also Welcome to the Family Part 2 has been in the talks for some time now and I don't think it will happen. But the first one was by far a great comp.

dtr has sucked for sooo long, its sad to think i use to luv this label, hellogoodbye might be the worst band i have ever heard....sad to think they have a greatest hit...

This is disappointing, Blink's Greatest Hits is disappointing. The only "Greatest Hits" album I'll check out is that new Face To Face one.

Fueled by Ramen is the "New" Drive-Thru
yes. and i'm not complaining
i like both record labels though
if this is gonna be considered a greatest hits it should have all the old bands on it
where's the benjamins?
the people that are using the argument of a band being low quality=cant be on a hits album. that makes no sense hits would be wats popular on drive thru

2. Geffen did
3. Nice try
yeah, not defending dtr as a label or anything... but this was all geffen.

1. Hellogoodbye does not belong on this.
2. Senses Fail.. WTF?, i thought DTR completely disowned them like a bastard child.
3. Dashboard used to be on DTR, and when I saw "greatest hits," a little hopeful voice inside of me wished that Dashboard would be on it.
4. Classic Drive Thru is not represented in this, not to mention great bands got the shaft. Come on, The Benjamins, RX Bandits... WHERE THE HELL IS HOME GROWN AND THE MOVIELIFE????
5. I think 2003 is the year during which Drive thru started losing their greatness. That's just my opinion. I still love this label and will support them, but they just don't have that spark of greatness that they used to have.

I miss the Benjamins so so much...
this is basically the dtr 2002 sampler...thats when drivethru ruled anyway...as is evident by the first dvd

Hearing the old Finch again on that e-card was awesome. Reminded me of why I loved that band.
I think the funniest part is that Midtown isn't even listed on the e-card.
somebody finally said it, midtown should definately be on it

Why is everyone asking the exact same question over and over again?! It is a "Greatest Hits" CD, not a "Best Of". If it was, it'd be a re-release of Rx Bandits' "Progress"... ;)
It has all the songs that were popular on MTV and stuff, therefore it only features the bands that Geffen promoted the most back in the day and signed over when DTR and Geffen parted. They can only release the songs they have the rights to and as DTR's contract with Geffen ran out, I'm surprised they managed to get Hellogoodbye on there. And if they wanted to put Dashboard Confessional on there, they'd have to go with the material from his first CD, which spawned not one single.
Geffen doesn't want to make a good compilation, they want to make money. They think the easiest way to do so is putting the ex-DTR bands on the CD that have the biggest fanbases.
