holy shit what an awesome show this was.
Dear And The Headlights opened things up, and played a very solid set.
I requested "Sweet Talk" and they played it. Love this band.
Band Marino is from Orlando apparently, and has a super awesome sound. I had never listened to these guys before tonight, and I have to say, I was very impressed with their live show.
The band I came for was As Tall As Lions, and they did NOT disappoint. Julio fucked his bass all night on stage, and they sounded about as tight as ever.
They played 4 new songs, along with:
Stab City
Summer
A Break, A Pause
Love Love Love (Love, Love)
Ghosts Of York
Into The Flood
Breakers
96 Heartbeats
Maybe I'm Just Tired Hidden Track (A Soft Hum?)
Absolutely INSANE live show. I love this band. Always put on a great performance, no matter what they play.

oh man, I'm quite jealous of this. How were the new songs? The first time I had ever heard/seen of dear and the headlights was opening for ATAL.

The new songs were fucking amazing. I was blown away by the second one they played. I wish I could hear it again. Soooo great.
And same! I hadn't heard of DATHL until like right before the tour was announced. I think that was the Mae tour in 2007.
Anyway, I left out some pretty important details. ATAL did an encore, which of course was love love love (love, love) and had like half the place come up on stage and dance from the second chorus onward. It was basically amazing. I'm sure it will be on youtube in a day or so, but that was more fun than I've had in a while at a show.

Hi, TDK Thread friend!
haha hi!
yeah, we all pretty much need the new record now, I don't doubt that it's going to be really great. Also, that would mean more tour dates! Sweet photos btw, it looked like and sounded like a lot of fun. Somewhat confused on the sheet covered thing with a microphone?

holy lol
yeah Band Marino does this song live, I don't know the name of it, but they do this skit/song/melodrama
and they cover the lead singer with a sheet and he keeps playing and singing while the skit is going on stage left. From what I was able to gather, the guitarist and bassist are fighting over a girl, and she ends up shooting both of them with capguns on stage. sooooo random/weird.
and yes! Dan said the new album would be out in July. Yay!

yeah the culture room show was really great.
although i got sick during ATAL's set and was in the bathroom for half of the show, and they also opened up with Stab City, but they ended with Love, and didn't play I'm Kicking Myself. and i don't believe Summer is the correct title for one of their songs i think it's called Song for Luna

Summer was the original title, actually. It was the title of the song they showed me on their iPod during Warped Tour 2006. It was changed for the final release of the album, but the leak still has it as "Summer". So that's what I've habitually called it, instead of Song For Luna. haha.

oh, that's cool. i wonder why the change. i always called it the summer song anyway, because i can never remember song titles, so i say whatever is in the lyrics.

Gah I love that song so much. I wish they would have played it. The beginning of that song is so boss. I would have loved to see them play "it's gettin' easy" too.
The new songs were fucking amazing.

It's a public photo album and you don't need a facebook account to see them.
Edit: guess not. I can't post pics in the setlist forum for some reason. I will put them up elsewhere later.
