Great artist, check out Car Wheels On A Gravel Road if you aren't familiar with her work.

Great album. Essence and World Without Tears are pretty good as well.

My dad listens to her a lot, I like what I've heard.

Nice. Glad to see some interest.

Mhmm. Have you listened to Little Honey yet? I never got around to it. I do like West though.

Yeah, it's alright albeit a tad long. Solid guests though in Elvis Costello and Charlie Louvin.

Gotcha. I'll get into it eventually, I just got preoccupied with other releases I was a bit more excited for haha. Sounds good though. Costello is awesome, though I'm admittedly not familiar with Charlie Louvin.

I love the song she did with M. Ward on his new album.

for me, she has some really strong moments, but isn't strong enough throughout for me to get into in a big way. which is something i find with a lot of female country artists, they tend to make incredible collaborative duos with other artists/bands, etc, but aren't always strong enough to (musically) stand alone. probably just me though

Generally speaking, I'd agree with that.

Eh, I can hear you on that one Craig.
