After two weeks of absorbing and mourning the loss of their drummer John "Beatz" Holohan, Bayside (www.baysiderocks.com) will be joining the Never Sleep Again Tour tonight in St. Petersburg, Florida in acoustic form. Read below for the details.

Bayside Hit The Road Again - Acoustic Duo Debuts Tonight at Jannus Landing in St. Petersburg, Florida

The tragic accident early Halloween morning that took the life of Bayside drummer John "Beatz" Holohan and seriously injured bassist Nick Ghanbarian was devastating to the band, their families and friends. After spending the past two weeks mourning their losses, singer/guitarist Anthony Raneri and guitarist Jack O'Shea will be rejoining the Never Sleep Again Tour tonight in St. Petersburg, Florida at Jannus Landing. "The outpouring of support from the public has been incredible", said singer/guitarist Anthony Raneri, "we really appreciate the donations and massive amount of mail from fans sharing their sorrow
over the loss of John. It's amazing to know how many lives he touched." Raneri and O'Shea will perform on acoustic guitars for the remainder of the tour - their prowess in this format was documented on their current, self-titled album, with the song, "Don't Call Me Peanut".

The Never Sleep Again Tour presents some of Victory Record's hottest acts, with powerhouse Hawthorne Heights headlining and Silverstein and Aiden joining Bayside for an incredible night of music. The solidarity between these bands was illustrated after Holohan's death, when each member of the tour got commemorative tattoos with Bayside's bird logo. I admire them for getting back out so quickly. I could never be that strong. But that's what John would want I'm sure.
It's just gonna be crazy to see them without him once they get back in full swing.

It is amazing how quickly these guys bounced back onto the tour. Everyone that has the ability to go definitly should, supporting these guys are the only way to make sure they continue to make great music.

Yeah, I was at this show.. it was one of the most emotional things i've ever witnessed.

Anthony and Jack were crying on stage, and consoled eachother throughout the set, most of the crowd knew what the situation was, and they still put out an incredible set. I hope someone filmed this, certainly the greatest show i have ever seen

I was at the milwaukee concert last saturday.

It was the most heartfelt, emotional set that I have seen. At the end they embraced each other for a while. It was a very moving show and i would recommend that anyone living near or not to a venue, go see the show. You will not regret it.
