i totally agree. TMG would be a great fit for these guys. i just can't wait to hear this album. the two songs on myspace just aren't enough anymore.

they did break up....but tooth and nail are more or less making them release this new material under the name watashi wa for (i guess) fear of the album not selling well enough under the name of eager seas.....so the album will be called 'Eager Seas' by Watashi Wa. And yes, I too think that TMG would be a great place for these guys.

Let me just say that I know the drummer and the bass player for the new lineup of Eager Seas and they have both expressed to me how unhappy they are that the Tooth And Nail label has done all of this to them.

They were told that they had to put the album out under "Watashi Wa" when only ONE member of Watashi Wa is even in the band anymore, and he had already given up on WW and moved on to Eager Seas. The reason the band wouldn't sell records is because T&N had not put ANY promotion into their own band. I would have gladly bought their new CD when it was scheduled to come out in JULY.

But through a series of Stupid Biffs the record got pushed back twice... then when they decided that Watashi Wa was what they were going with, they made them put out their record on November 22nd.

So yesterday I talked to Jonathan, the drummer, and asked him if the CD was coming out for reals this time... and he said we have to wait til January now cause T&N just told them that they had to push back AGAIN.

T&N needs to do something write by this, cause they are screwing up big time. I hope Eager Seas does go to Militia, cause in my opinion, they are running things smoother right now.

Anyways, that's just my 2 cents.
