Brief Thursday Tour Update

Below is an update from Thursday (www.thursday.net).

Warped Tour 2006!!! We will be there this summer and we'll be there with a new record!!! Our friends in Rise Against will be with us and so will a bunch of other great bands like Motion City Soundtrack. We can't wait to see all you sweaty, dirty people! This means that in 2006 we will be officially back on tour and in a city near you. We're also planning on doing some super small shows in different towns across the country.

I was fortunate enough to catch Thursday play a really small club show in July 2004! I have to say it was one of the best performances I have seen to date. It was an off-date for the Coachella Tour (i believe?) and they really know how to rock it. Can't wait for Warped or another small show!!

If by "last summer" you mean this past summer, yeah, they were on a break/writing their new record. And Geoff was sick, I believe. He had a bunch of internal problems from the epilepsy medication, epilepsy being the reason Thursday had to leave Warped '04 early...weird how it all comes around.

I feel sorry for anyone that missed Thursday in '04 cause they stole the show that year. I can't wait to see some new songs performed, its gonna be fucking awesome.

I think the reason they left Warped was because they hopped on the Curiosa festival that the Cure put on.
