Anyone know of any sites that offer recording tips on a genre-specific basis?
I've written lots of songs, but while I'd like to leave some of them just me and the acoustic guitar, I'd like to flesh some of them out, so to speak. I haven't yet figured out how I want to set them up, but I know I'm going to need to learn more about how to even out the volume levels of vocals, guitar, bass, drums, etc., when I'm recording a more complex song than when I'm just recording an acoustic song (which should be fairly basic in terms of recording skill).
Any suggestions?
