Go Betty Go (www.purevolume.com/gobettygo) has broken up. The band has dropped off of the "Panic With A K" tour and Over It (www.overitonline.com) and House of Heroes (ww.purevolume.com/houseofheroes) are splitting the remainder of the dates. Expect me to post two more break ups next week.

these ladies were bound to break up. Seemed like they were really unhappy to be playing with each other after awhile. The guitarist is super nice though, so hopefully they all find something they want to do that makes them all happy......

I just saw them on Saturday. I submitted news about them the day after, but apparently it wasn't good enough for the front page. Anyways, for anyone interested, Rufio's van broke down on the way here and Go Betty Go went out of their way to pick the guys up and use their equipment. I can't say I was a big fan of Go Betty Go, they seemed like a watered down Donnas, but that doesn't mean I didn't enjoy their set, personality, or generosity. It's sad to hear about all the band breakups, and Go Betty Go are no exception to that.

Stairwell was an awesome band! Autopilot Off broke up this year too and they were one of the most underated bands around. I still jam to their cd a few times a week.

Autopilot Off is still one of my favorite all time bands. I can't belive "Make a Sound" wasn't a hit like it should have been. Every track on that album had "single" written all over it. Such a shame.

i know it won't be, but one of these 'about to break up' bands SHOULD be glassjaw. they just need to call it quits. they play a show with a band made up of completely different members, take six months off and then do it all over again. i'd say they were beating a dead horse but, at this point, there's not much left of the horse's body for them to beat.

i'll be glad if the transplants broke up. they were horrible, and you didnt name very many of the great bands that ended this year
