i liked this CD a lot. started to sound a little too similar as it went on, still i liked it a lot. i was applled at alternative press's 2 they gave it.

the ransom e.p is waaay better than chroma. chroma had NONE of the energy the e.p had.

Bad idea. It should have been unreleased tracks if those exist.

If The Ransom was a full length instead of an EP, I might agree with you. Those seven tracks' sound appeal to me much more than Chroma's overproduced sound. I also like the sound of the demos of the other Chroma tracks more than the album versions, but oh well. Maybe I'm just a sucker for that grittier sound. Oh, and Fiend off the EP is incredible.

Having said all of that, Chroma is still a solid debut. You can't argue with 12 tracks > 7 tracks, especially when 2 of those tracks are Q and A.
