Really been loving this band lately. It's weird though, I bought "Bastard of Midnight" through iTunes when someone suggested I check them out, but the free copy of the album I ended up downloading, that song sounds way different. Like, the song itself is the same but production-wise, it's noticeably different.

Right now, I'm convinced it is my favorite Damnwells album. As expected, it is consistent all the way through. My favorite track on the album depends on which song I'm listening to at the moment. I've already listened to the album 20+ times. Alex brought the 'rock' back with a couple of quick tempo songs (She Goes Around, No One Listens to the Band Anymore, The Experts). The closer (The Same Way) is absolutely excellent.

It's amazing how consistent they are. I mean yeah, I loved One Last Century too but this album's even better. Alex Dezen is one of the best songwriters around right now, far as I'm concerned. It's a shame how under the radar they are. I feel like they could be pretty big if they just got the right exposure.

One Last Century is pretty great. Air Stereo is pretty phenomenal as well. I think NOLTTBA is my favorite album by them though.

Definitely my favorite song on the CD.
