last night in Baton Rouge, LA. they didn't announce it beforehand. Colin told a few people before they came on and then word got out. they played a lot of new songs (which were all very good) but it was still pretty depressing. I hate when such good bands decide to call it quits way too early

Well it isn't a rumor, unless the band spread it themselves. I talked to Colin, they mentioned a few things on stage about it being their last, etc. So, yeah. I wouldn't have posted it unless I heard it from their mouths. They're all either married, in school, or live in another state.
as for the blog, I'm pretty sure that's been on Myspace for a long time now. I heard that they're just putting out the CD because of their contract, but don't quote me on that one

Shucks, I never got to see them. But I won't be too disheartened until they go public.
It'll be alright. Bands come and go, some of my favorite albums were from very short-lived bands. We'll always enjoy what music they have documented. Be positive.

Yeah, Come Now Sleep obviously has so much in common with metalcore. Please. I find it perfectly understandable that some people would hate this band, but at least state your disapproval without stating your sheer ignorance at the same time.
