So, a video is being shopped around to news outlets showing hard-nosed anti-drug man Joe Biden's daughter, Ashley, doing cocaine earlier this year. Will this have any ramifications on Joe or the Obama presidency short term? Will she make a public statement? Will this influence public opinion?

Bristol Palin was 17 when that happened. Sarah Palin should have been a much larger influence on her considering Bristol still lived at home. 17 = kid. 27 = adult. It's aloooot different.

I would argue that children are much more likely to listen to their parents' advice AFTER their teenage years. But I do understand what you are getting at.

I believe the 10 years difference in age between the two may have contributed to this.
17 year old daughter of abstinence preaching mom getting knocked up > 27 year old blowing lines imo.

yeah, Biden's daughter should practice better judgement being the adult and all, but it's still ultimately out of his hands. I'm sure it will cause some kind of stir, but I don't really think that it reflects on his abilitly as a leader.
Palin's kid shouldn't have influenced anything, and this shouldn't either.

I first heard about it on a local ABC broadcast, and did a quick google to confirm. It's also been in the daily papers atleast 2 days this week. I think that makes it "news worthy".
