yeah ..its going to be penn state vs the acc champ at the orange bowl. The Fiesta is going to choose ND over PSU, sadly. BCS is probably going to be:

Rose - USC vs Texas
Orange - PSU vs ACC champ (FSU or VTech)
Sugar - SEC champ (LSU/Georgia) vs Big East (WVU?)
Fiesta - ND vs at-large (Ohio St most likely ..maybe Oregon or Auburn)

The poor Hurricanes cost themselves some big $$ with that loss last night.

orange bowl officials were on the sideline and smiling pretty wide at the PSU game. I believe the way the system works this year with the usual Big Ten berth in the Rose Bowl going to #1 or #2, the Fiesta would choose 1st (likely ND) and then the Orange Bowl would select next, and it looks like it'll be PSU.

I think LSU would probably jump in if they win the SEC Title game.

yeah, its going to be a conference with an end of season tourney, since the added game of tough competition will boost their schedule strength.

but PSU in the Nat'l championship game would send a few of my PSU friends into a world they can't fathom yet.

Nebraska would have murdered PSU back then. Have you read anything on ESPN? That 94 team was probably the best college football team ever. We beat miami, who had warren sapp and plenty of other first rounders, whom are still in the NFL today. PSU would never have come close to beating Miami, OR Nebraska.

All I remember is watching State...and Carter and Collins were unstoppable. They destroyed Oregon in the Bowl. It's a shame they didn't get to play.
