Does anyone use DirecTV for Sunday NFL ticket? I've been really interested in getting it because I'm a Tampa Bay fan who lives in California. Is the dish a hassle? Are there any problems with it?

I'm getting DishTV real soon, and I'm getting the sports packages for my basement. My neighbor says he never had problems. So my dad is gonna commit to it and see how it goes. I kinda have the same problem, being an Mets/Astros fan who lives in NY..I can't see any Astros games.

I see.....well I already have digital cable at my house, and through it you can order MLB, NBA, and NHL packages, but not NFL. I think it's because DirecTV has a deal with the NFL that says the NFL can't use any other provider. I hope that contract runs out soon, because the whole dish thing seems unnecessary and annoying.

It's like 250 dollars. As great as it is, it's not worth that much money.

DishTV was 35.95 a month I think. It beats what my cable bill is right now.

Oh I thought you meant the actual Dish. Yeah, it's expensive.

I don't know, I think any game I want all season is worth a paycheck.

I rent a house with five other guys, so I only end up paying $50 overall for it... Plus they let you pay in installments, and you get the top DirecTV package free for four months with it. I love it (and I'm a Jets fan and don't need it to see their games), and have yet to have a problem with it.

I have Sunday Ticket, it's awesome. We haven't had any problems with it and it's awesome having every NFL game in your house. It's worth it.

nfl sunday ticket is one of the most beautiful things ever invented.

however, the new 'red zone channel' is worthless. they should change the name of it to the 'whoever crosses half-field channel'.

No you just call and they do it over the phone. Its a great thing. I like the red zone feature.

haha me too, I live in CA and like Tampa too, have been for like 10 years now...weird. I have DirecTV and had the NFL Sunday Ticket last season and it was so cool. Every game, every week so you can keep up with every game on.
