Mute Math was awesome when I saw them too. But seriously dude, Circa Survive is amazing. My friend and I were front row for them and it was such an experience. Anthony Green turns into somethting else when he's performing and it's unbelievable to watch. He spent almost our whole set in the crowd (in my arms actually, hahaha) and he grabbed my friends hair as they both yelled into the mic. The mic ended up breaking, but that didn't matter because we were all singing along with him in easily the most intense show I have ever been to.

Circa Survive totally blew me away and made a fan of me at Warped Tour. But then I saw them on the Mae tour and I was pretty disappointed. It may have been better if Anthony's mic was turned up. I can't decide how I feel about them.

i love circa survive, but music is subjective. if this kid doesn't like them, he doesn't like them. it doesn't effect me in any way, nor does it effect you. jesus, opinions are one thing, but personal attacks just because someone doesn't like a band you do just aren't necesary.

no matter how you look at it, they are amazing musicians. if they suck live...dont go see them? i know its fun to see bands you like live and have them be amazing and what not. but if they dont meet your standards, that shouldnt mean that they are not as good anymore.

The show was originally $7, but it moved to another location and went up. It was certainly not worth it. Considering I only paid to see that band only and was disappointed.

I love their album, but they totally shit the bed in Charlotte last week. They made my ears sad. I wish i hadn't seen them live so i could still listen to the album without thinking about that show.

I saw them play with Motion City Soundtrack, Copeland and The Maple State and they were by far the worst band there, I mean, they may 'sound original' and stuff...but if thats what has become of being original then god help us.

i think they are a terrible band, but i thought they put on a decent show. Anthony's got a great voice regardless, and it carried well when i went to that show.

hahaha agreed. he needs to hit the crack more and o.d. so they can stop playing. i found it interesting how their bass player could dislocate his knee, its not like theyre playing upbeat pop punk or metal so he wouldnt move around THAT much. my friend went to see them when they came to Pittsburgh last time and I guess Anthony came out for an encore and one kid yelled seven years and he walked off stage. hahaha what a bitch.

I didn't say anything about them being on a higher level. I'm not even sure if I'd consider myself much of a fan of theirs. Just seems like one of those bands you have to "understand". Maybe I'm not making sense.

youre making it seem as if they are on a higher level, by saying you have to "understand" them. theyre nothing special at all anthony green has a good voice thats about it.
