The following note was recently posted on Cartel (http://www.cartelrocks.com)'s website, I *think* the voting is now done (or I just can't find it for the life of me) but congrats to the band for being chosen to be on the soundtrack (and thank you to everyone that did vote).

Hey everyone. Just some quick news about the Amped Snowboarding Soundtrack - Amped3. Cartel was chosen to be one of the 20 bands on the soundtrack - however, the contest continues. Amped has a ballot on the site where YOU can choose your favorite track on the Amped3 record. The winner gets a spot on the South by Southwest festival in Austin, TX - so please swing by the site and give us a vote. to vote, click on the "media player" section of the site. listen to the song that you want to vote for and then rate it accordingly.

whats the deal with Cartel's Christmas song? Anyone know, I read in Alt. Press that they were going to be on Santa Cause 2, but haven't heard anything about it.

Umm... that has been on their website for a while.

Voting isn't over; you open the website and launch the music player to vote.

It took me way too long to get this album but I finally did and it will easily land in my top 10 and best pop punk album with Houston Calls. I want to see them live.
