I will be interviewing the guys of Nightmare Of You (http://www.nightmareofyou.com/) soon. If you have any questions that you would like the band to ask. Leave them in the replies and I would do my best to get them all answered.

Ask then:
Who wrote the majority of the lyrics for the album?
Did it Iraqi war inspire "Heaven Runs on Oil" completely or if there are other influences?
oh yeah, and ask them this:
If they think the band will get to the point where Movielife and Glassjaw left off?

yeah, one more,

How it feels to be so fucking good?

Ask them about the situation witht their own record label, the Bevonshire label, and ask them if they realize the cd doesn't show up when you put it in your cd drive. But that could be just my computer or my copy.

k?God, you're dumb. You said their musicianship wasn't anything special. So I asked you what you know about musicianship. That's an actual question. There's no sarcasm. Why don't you re-read what people are saying a few more times.

your comment against me had nothing to do with my first post. you attacked my opinion because i apparently don't know enough about music to say a band sucks.

i have been playing music for the past 13 years. i can play the piano, sax/clarinet, trumpet, cello, guitar (acoustic/electric/bass), and can dabble on the drums. i have been in 5 bands, have done some minor touring. i spent about 4-5 years promoting/booking shows at home and at college. i also spend a lot of free time working with music sequencers.

and the fact of the matter is, i don't need to prove myself to you. you don't have to know dick about music to not like a band. do you think you're something special or have a heightened sense of credibility because you work for a college radio station? fuck you, you pompous prick. i look at your taking back sunday, brand new, generic fad bands and wipe my ass with your opinions.

now now..play nice you two...it's just a webzine forum. easy, tiger.

as for my question(s) --

Can you explain your experiences from the time The Movielife broke up? Was it a hard transition to go from an established band in Movielife to starting from scratch in the early stages of NOY?

Seeing as Brandon has never taken on the responsibility of "front man" before, how is he holding up? Is it harder to go from the guitarist of a band to the "center of attention"?

Does the band attribute some of the success of NOY to the strong fanbase of previous Movielife fans?

Ask them if they see themselves going for a more dance flavored style in the future sort of like "My name is trouble"...if they say "yes" please do me a favor and slap each one of them in the mouth.

Answer 1: because i'm all salty about the movielife breaking up? and i think vinnie's new project is better than brandon's. and i want to hear what brandon has to say about it.

Answer 2: to fuck with people

1) brandon doesnt care that you think vinnie's project is better, and frankly, i doubt any of us do either. I mean, hey, you like what you like, but you could be cool and and post that on a IATA thread instead and..

2) dont you have a website to hack, or riddlin to take?

Ask if they have any plans for a new album, and around what time it will come out.
Also ask what the bands they are listening to right now.

i saw them the other day, i think the 18th, and brandon yelled "No not me!" during every song i think. i kinda wanted to know what that was about.

Ask them how come they didn't put "No Uniform is Gonna Keep You Warm" on the album? Are there any other songs from the album sessions that didn't make it on the CD (apart from Baby's Barely Breathing and Dopesick Lovers of the Lower East Side)?

And most importantly, what is Phil Navetta up to now he has left the band?
