How many plays do you currently have racked up at the moment?



I try to never let my itunes play overnight or when I'm not around to hear the music, but I have 36,491 plays (29 per day) and was wondering how this compares to other people who use Last.fm

I'm meticulous about most of my music getting scrobbled, though probably 20% of my listening habits aren't digital. That, and I didn't scrobble anything for the first couple months of signing up for last.fm... oops.

I've been scrobbeling my itunes and ipod since 2005 (and windows media player now). I usually listen to music on the computer avg 5-6 hours a day, maybe more while doing work. So I think this is very much possible.

4000ish. only used it for a month or so though.

You can set it up so your last.fm tracks your iPod plays, you know. :-)

haha thanks, it added what I already had stored in my itunes when I made that account though. from looking at my old last.fm, I'd say that I already had about 13,000 plays that it already added.

Yeah I wish mine had done that way back when. I've gotten like 3 new computers since I started last.fm though, I have bad luck. I ALSO WHICH WE COULD MERGE ACCOUNTS. Or I should have stayed at my old username. One of the two.

yeah, it was lucky for me because I got a new computer very shortly after that. I deleted some of the artists I didn't listen to anymore because they were like 1,000 plays and top artists and as I had no interest in them, I thought it was stupid to have them on there still as my top artists. I think it's funny to compare my old one with my new one now.

Yeah, same here.. I still listen to 7/10 of my bands in my top played, but I'm actually going through it right now to see who I used to listen to a lot. A lot of shitty bands. I'm slightly embarrassed.

My old account was during a dark time in my life - when I loved a boy who was into a lot of like screamo/hardcore stuff. When I was looking at my top played shit, it was all stuff he liked. I definitely like my top 25 on my account now, from 07-the present, rather than my account from 05-07.

Well it wasn't COMPLETELY his taste, but a lot of it was.

People who strive to be trendy for the sake of being trendy and popular is lame, but people have been like that since the beginning of time, and it won't change.

that's true. it just annoys me. and it was embarrassing to see that there was a point where I was kind of like that.

it really was. I bought a poster on ebay from it because I loved it so much. I love Cartel too. I'm excited to hear their new album.
