Shows in Chicago in Late Dec?

I'm going to be visiting Chicago in late December (22rd thru 28th) and was wondering if anyone knew of any decent shows (local groups would be cool) at any decent venues. I'd more than likely have tourist stamped across my forehead so I wouldn't want to be anywhere that was definately shady but you only live once right?

Also, are there some things that any locals would suggest going to check out while I was in Chicago? Thanks in advance.

All the following shows are at the Metro (A very good venue for a concert. It's small, but the sound is great.)

12/22 - The Academy Is... / Gym Class Heroes / The Hush Sound / The Audition

12/23 - Kill Hannah

12/27 - June / Plain White T's / The Fold
