Below is a statement from Trevor of Number One Gun (http://www.purevolume.com/numberonegun), regarding the status of the band.

This is Trevor from Number One Gun. At this point in time we aren't really supposed to talk about our whole situation. As it stands right now we will be taking a break from touring after our current tour, but any plans after that are still up in the air.

I ran into these guys at Denver International Airport about a month ago. They didn't seem like they were having a good time.

Promises For The Imperfect is an excellent CD. It shows some AMAZING potential from the band. Hope they keep it up. Would love to see them live.

This album was promoted about as well as the shit I took this morning. I normally have only great things to say about T&N, but they really didnt help these guys out much at all.

good band, though i thought celebrate mistakes was waaaaay better than promises.

really? I think promises is a great album, but to me, it lost what I felt number one gun did the best: write catchy melodic pop punk songs. I feel like there's a lot of tension in promises and it never really gets resolved. I love both albums but my preference is definitely celbrate mistakes. I've been watching this band for years, seeing them play in venues the size of my living room. it would be a bummer to find out they're over...

they'd better not break-up, both cd's are great, however i must agree that promises is better

I really wish I would have seen them on friday. Oh well. Can someone recap the great bands we lost this year? Ouch Name Taken hurt the most.

i love how bands say they're breaking up or kicking someone out by just saying that they cant say any more about it.

I must say I'm dissapointed hearing this news. AP actually introduced this band to me, and after I heard the album, "promises", I knew it was one of the best cd's of the year. These guys have tons of potential so I sure hope they continue

I first saw these guys with the anberlin/relient k tour, they were the openers and at the time i thought better than anberlin and relient k.

NOT ONLY THAT, but my roommates drove up to the show (an hour and a half away), got there after it had sold out, explained their situation to the door people, and Number One Gun stepped up and put them on the guest list so they could get in!

I'm pretty certain it isn't.
SnakeCrossCrown hasn't ever been made official, and there's another big one that I think he was talking about.

HOLY FUCK!

oh my god, if TSTCTC break up I will fucking murder everyone. Literally. I will. Call the cops, kids.

What the fuck? If that's made official I will come after you first hahaha fuck!

Thats terrible news, both their EP and LP were fucking incredible (nothing alike) but Mander Salis was my favourite album of 2004 by far. fuck im so pissed off now.

Promises was good, but I just don't feel it had enough to make Number One Gun stand-out or rise to a new level say like Anberlin did with "Never Take Friendship Personal".

word. TSTCTC are one of my favorite bands. "Mander Sails" is one of the most underrated, criminally underappreciated albums of the last 5 years.
