Panic With a K Tour: MxPx & Relient K

I was at the San Francisco show yesterday, and it was awesome. Over It wasn't bad, and I didn't care much for Rufio. Relient K was magic, but I'm biased because they're my favorite band. MxPx put on a good show as well, but I didn't stay for their whole set.

Over It played a song with a kid named Ryan, who I think was their roadie, but people in my party were debating as to what he really was. One thought he used to be in the band. Another thought he was Asian. Who is he, really?

i went when they came to Chicago. over it opened and they sucked really bad, i was glad when they ended. rufio was okay but nothing special. mxpx were really good. i'm not a big fan of theirs but they put on an amazing show. relientk were sweet as well.

mxpx was terrible. i've seen them 3 times and this was by far the worst. they can't play a damn song without stopping for 5 minutes to tell gay jokes to the 12 year old crowd.

rufio. not as good as last time i saw them.

relient k was worth the whole thing. they are so good now. i love them.

i saw it down here in atlanta. rufio was horrible. i couldnt stand to watch them.

house of heroes opened. and ill say that band is going to be huge. such talented individuals, and they put on the best performance i've seen for an opener in a long time. the kids were into them from the get go.

rufio came out, and i dont know if it was a bad night or what, but that's the second time i've seen them, and the second time they've sucked. i love them on a cd...but live, no.

relient k was third. i was fortunate enough to be backstage with matt and the guys for most of the night. i have been listening to this band for around 7 years, and the first time i saw them was in my church basement in front of 20 kids...and to see them walking up on stage, with 600 screaming kids, who mainly came to see them(kinda sad, considering mxpx was on the tour...), and just blow the crowd away, is amazing to me. they played great that night, and they totally deserve to be where they are right now, and im beyond happy for them.

mxpx. wow. it may be cliche to say, but mxpx has influenced me so much. they played with so much energy, and their live show is just as good as it was 10 years ago. although, it was very disappointing to see all of the idiot kids leaving after relient k. i probably made an ass of myself telling them they're all stupid for leaving, but oh well.

i think the main reason it's sad is because if it wasn't for mxpx, the bands that played on this tour may not have been around. and even matt from relient k pointed that out. saying something along the lines of 'if it wasn't for mxpx, we wouldnt be playing this show, so stick around for them'. and of course, the kids left.

overall, i'd rate the show a 9 out of 10.

also, i got to see relient k play a 15 minute set last week...yes 15 minutes haha. they played downtown at philips arena with will smith, the backstreet boys, and the pussycat dolls. and lemme tell you...will smith was the shit.

i went to this solely for the fact that i heard that they came out to the family matters theme song and they covered the full house theme song...this show had the most little kids i have ever seen and i've been to a shit load of shows
