Am I the only one that thinks it's silly for women to continue to try to make the cut in PGA tournaments? I mean what is going to happen they are going to barely make the cut and then what? They come close to the bottom? What does that do but stop one of the other men on the PGA tournament from making the cut and making money. If I were a male pro golfer I'd go on a LPGA and see what happens. Would they stop him? I just think it is silly.

The PGA isn't a male only league. It's for the best golfers, regardless of gender. If you want to blame someone for all the hoopla, blame the media for sensationalizing the story every time a women's golfer plays in a PGA event.

Obviously, if you put Tiger of Phil on an LPGA event, they're going to dominate. That's the point of the LPGA. Since MOST women cannot compete on the PGA tour, it exists so that women have a better shot at becoming professional golfers.
