Went to the show last night in Philly at the tower (which is a fantastic venue, about the size of a high school auditorium!) Anyhow, standard prices their new EP is selling for $7 I believe, there are about 5 songs. Tee shirts 20-25 everything was about standard. The show itself was phenomenal. I have seen them about 5 times now and I think this was the best one I have seen. Caught the tail end of ra ra riot, I dont know much by them. Cold War Kids were impressive. Death Cab played about 20 songs, here is what I remember in no particular order...

The song you missed was "Company Calls." It seems like an unpopular opinion, but I was actually pretty disappointed by this set list. With the exception of "My Mirror Speaks," I'd already seen all of these songs live before, and given that they have such an extensive catalog of amazing songs to pull from, I wish they'd vary it a little more. They definitely sounded great, but I would have liked a few different songs thrown in there.

Went to the show in St. Paul last night. Fucking excellent. Ra Ra Riot was just ok but Cold War Kids and Death Cab killed it. I was like 8 feet away from Ben Gibbard.

I saw them in Michigan last Saturday at MSU and it was phenomenal. Death Cab For Cutie are one of the best bands around. They are so good live. I highly recommend seeing them if you have the chance.

I saw them yesterday night. Ra Ra Riot was okay, Cold War Kids was great and had a very energetic performance, Death Cab For Cutie was fanfuckingtastic. They had a pretty good setlist but some songs were lacking that I really wanted to see them play. Especially Bixby Canyon Bridge, Expo' 86, Tiny Vessels, and Little Brides.

Death Cab were, as GuitarR0cker1 perfectly put it, fanfuckingtastic. They sounded great and gave an energetic performance and everyone seemed to be in a really good mood. The two songs I really wished they'd have played were Bixby and Little Bribes.. but Marching Bands, Title Track and CC Epilogue were all really pleasant surprises so it's not as big a deal. Great show.

yeah it was a hell of a show. I was really pleased with the amount of old songs. Would have liked to hear more off of Plans but overall, it was wonderful. The light show was sick, too. First time I'd seen DCFC in about 4 years.

Also, how great was Ra Ra Riot? I'm definitely hitting up the in-store at Park Ave today.
