From the band:

Hello West Coast!

Since we missed you guys on our first Headlining tour, we are heading Westbound to hit all of our favorite cities we've missed. We wanted to kick off the tour in San Diego,CA. It's been almost 3 years since Lydia has played there, so we decided to hide 3 pairs of tickets in our favorite locations in San Diego. We urge you to stay awake for this tour, we will post a map on our myspace profile of the locations where tickets are hidden at MIDNIGHT the day of show. We will disclose clues through our Twitter (LydiaMusic), our facebook group, and bulletins through our myspace. Make sure you guys stay awake, find some free tickets, and join us on this 9 day seminar to become a better person! Joining us on the road are our friends PlayRadioPlay!, Eye Alaska and Brave Citizens. 9 more shows...

How many years has Lydia been around? 6 years?
I don't think they've ever played in Buffalo.
It's not like it's that shitty here.

This is really far away from now. I'm really excited for the tour though. Going to Bottom of the Hill show. Never been to that venue, so it should be interesting.

it's pretty cute, reaaaally small. same size as 12 galaxies before it closed down. but yeah, the stage is like half the size of slim's

I've been waiting for a long time to see Lydia.
Last tour when they came to Cleveland nothing worked out.
And any other times never did either.

:/ Lame

Lydia:
1. I Woke Up Near The Sea
2. A Fine Evening For A Rogue
3. Smile, You've Won
4. This Is Twice Now
5. Stay Awake
6. Hospital
7. Now The One You Once Loved Is Leaving
8. One More Day
--
9. Always Move Fast
10. December

Second time seeing Lydia now...was definitely better this time around compared to when they played on the Copeland tour. I didn't think "I Woke Up..." sounded good at all; Leighton either can't sing a lot of the parts or he just changes it up too much. On the Copeland tour, "Hospital" wasn't performed that well. Today however, was different...It actually sounded great and was comparable to the album. In lieu of Aaron Marsh, Mindy sang his part instead. Overall, the group performed well.

The last two songs in the encore were both requests. For the 9th song, it was either between "All I See" or "Always Move Fast." And for the last, it was narrowed down to either "Fate" or "December". It worked out for me as those were the two songs I would have preferred. I only wish they played "It's In Your Blood," as it's one of my favorites of theirs.

So yeah, despite the horrible venue that Chain Reaction is, the performance was still enjoyable. Definitely head out to one of the shows if it's in your area.

10 songs for a headliner is pretty sad. Sweet that they played 'Now the one...' though

That's probably the best setlist that I've seen from them, even though 10 songs isn't much for a headliner.
