Dance Gavin Dance is one of the most unique offerings music can give. My God, how many bands do you listen to that blend funk, indie, and post hardcore? You may not like them, and that’s cool, maybe their style just isn’t your thing. However, you have to respect their unique and majestic beauty. Or at least respect their ability to out as something different in a genre that consists of gay ass bands such as: A Skylit Drive, Attack Attack!, and Chiodos. I will admit that, although I enjoy it, their old stuff can be extremely cliché, but their most recent offering especially, is as fresh as you can get. Listen to the songs Carl Barker and NASA and you’ll hear how different they are.
