I have a thesis paper due on wednesday. Can you tell me if this is a strong thesis?


James K Polk's declaration of war on mexico was not provoked by mexico but simply an aggressive pursuit of ownership of land from east to west coast and fulfillment of manifest destiny.The declaration of war gave Polk an excuse to continue to expand the nations boundaries.

Well before this topic I was thinking for a while about something to do with John Wilkes booth that I could make strong arguments for, but wasn't too obvious. It was incredibly hard to find a topic relating to this. Lately we've been doing polk in my class, so he's fresh in my mind. I thought of this topic a few days ago, my friends said it seemed easy, but I just wanted to run it by you guys to see if you think It could have strong support and a solid paper following it.
