View Full Version : Past the Pacific - Pop Punk
Hey guys, we're from Mid-Michigan trying to bring back the late '90s early '00s pop-punk sound of Blink 182 and The Starting Line.
Also, we have an upcoming show with Holiday Parade on May 2nd in Lansing, so if you're nearby come check it out, contact us if you would like any tickets, as well.
Give us a listen at http://www.myspace.com/pastthepacific and tell us what you think.
Thanks,
PTP

this sounds...n-o-t-h-i-n-g like '90s/early '00s pop punk...at all whatsoever. correct me if I'm wrong but '90s/early '00s pop punk bands did not sound like forever the sickest kids ripoffs.

Ya dude you're right. It's good. But it is not at all 90's/early 00 pop punk.
Listen to the music, not just the vocals.

Dudes, im likin the sound. True it's not exactly pop punk of 10 years ago. maybe a little bit but more modernized and all.
forever the sickest kids- not at all, theyre much more poppier, i like your true rock sound. but i wouldnt compare myself to b182 either. im thinking the musicry of valencia plus a little added stuff.
good stuff- would like to hear more...
