It seems to me that it is becoming commonplace for bands to go on hiatus. When this happens there are often new bands that pop up containing some of the same band members you know and love. Even when a band does not go on hiatus new bands may still form (i.e. Two Tongues). So I was wondering if there were any side bands/ new bands forming from the ashes of a fallen band that people feel are better than the previous or more predominate band. I know question is worded kind of fucked up but I couldn't think of a better way to ask it.
