honestly i don't think their sound is much different without colin. colin never really even had much of an impact on the songs omar actually does most of the writing. Also, Nick is a much better frontman when it comes to live performances. He can interact with a crowd much better than Colin.

Fair enough, and I like your argument more than those "FOB are gay" and "Pete is a douche" statements earlier in this thread.

It came down to this: I love TTTYG but FUCT was a bit awkward in parts. On the other hand, I love virtually every second of both Hit the Lights records. In addition, Fall Out Boy will never make a record cloes to sounding like TTTYG ever again. Hit the Lights will continue to make pop punk records I'll enjoy.

I don't think HTL is an exact copy of FOB. There are very, very few bands that are exact copies of others.

Because lots of their vocals and music are rip offs from Fall Out Boy and it is quite open. I never said it was 100% of the time.

Not to be a dick or anything but. how can you say the vocals are the same. Hit the Lights have had two different singers and their first, Colin Ross, was very nasally(though I loved his voice). That's something Patrick Stump isn't.

Awkward doesn't mean it's bad though. I happen to love the progression on IOH and FAD. FOB has continually raised the bar and left all their copycats behind.

Well old HTL sounded more like NFG, but their newer stuff had more breakdowns and did kinda sound close to FYS but not by much.
