well technically, they haven't done anything in a couple years- with rocky, blood brothers, and gatsbys all doing well now. i guess they finally to have a last show this december though. shame, but i think we're better off with everyone's current projects.

Good thing An Angle or The Higher didn't break up, or else there might be more than 5 comments on this thread. Anyway, Waxwing was a very good band. They will be missed by the 6 AP readers who know who they are.

haha, didn't they break up like 2 years ago? I mean, Rudy has been in Gatsby's for like 3+ years now, and Rocky has been doing solo stuff for about the same amount of time. Nonetheless, it's official now, that sucks...great band.

Yeah Rocky has been doing solo stuff for a bit longer than 3 years. His self titled was released in like '99 from memory so its more like 6. But yeah Waxing breaking up sux. I am hanging out for Rocky's new stuff though.

yes, but waxwing's last album was released in october of 2002. of course i was talking about post-waxwing endeavors, not just side projects, which is what rocky's solo stuff was while waxwing was still active. his solo career has been his main focus for quite some time now.

i'm late on this, but yeah, i think everyone saw it coming. one of my favorite bands of all time. i'm getting the waxwing logo tattooed huge on my ribcage next month.
