However, if you do play at the Trance when you show up and the guy tells you if you draw over 35 people they will pay you $3 a head as opposed to $1/head tell him to fuck off because hes full of shit. No matter how many people you draw, he'll still pay you $1/head. The guy flat out told me we had like 75 people or something say they came to see us and he said he could only pay us $1/head. The money isn't a big deal in the first place since we only live an hour and a half from the place but just don't lie and say one thing at one point and then change your mind when it comes to the end of the night.

thats not true. my band played there and brought in about 55 people and in the end he ended up giving us like $110. he is a good guy. give him a break because he practicly makes nothing for each show. the place is practily bankrupt and they barely break even for each show.

well i know that running small all ages venues like that sucks (seeing they all end up out of busines eventually...atleast around here) but it also sucks when you play and end up getting ripped off when you really count on the money to make loan/insurance payment on your van and stuff like that. I don't know money is just a pain in the ass.
