You should be! I've never met them as I'm in Northern BC (not exactly the most "scene" place to be), but I talk with Matt on AIM almost daily, and he's an awesome guy. Corey is really nice as well.

Get over it. The fuck do I care about my post count? I'd say the same thing if I had 36,612 posts. I've reviewed Strange Distress Calls and it's boring. A few good jams, but overall pretty forgettable.

And I'm sick and fucking tired of bands being granted exemption for mediocre music just for being "nice.'' You know what, I don't doubt at all that they're super nice guys, but if that doesn't translate into making more exciting music, I honestly don't give a shit. I heard their album, not took them out to dinner, so the "nice" quotient doesn't mean a damn for me.

I hate when bands are dickholes as much as the next guy, but I'm not going to act like I enjoy something I don't for the sake of not hurting feelings. This isn't Oprah.

I heard them do that new song last week. They really won me over with their live show. They let me have a shirt and a copy of Strange Distress Calls for 15 bucks and I only had a 20 on me...I liked them so much I told them to keep the change.
