Besides their album cover I have no idea why people hate on this band. Sure it may not be original, but it at least it's true pop punk.

I love this band. Their full length isn't 100% strong throughout, but it's got some real great tunes. One thing I love is how Davey's lyrics make the situations he's in so real and relatable. I think I hate his ex more than he does haha. Definitely agree with dropping the melting neon though.

one of my fave pop punk bands right now, def in my top 5, Throw Your Hands Up For One Night Stands was the soundtrack to my whole 2009 and Phoenix can keep you was my 2nd fave song during 09, second only to This Time Next Year's New sensation

these guys seriously are some good solid pop punk. they rank in my top pop punk bands (along with the years gone by, the wonder years, this time next year, fireworks, and the crosstown rivalry). their new song is pretty good, but nothing can beat Our California Song and Phoenix Can Keep You. i want them to get their lineup ordeal settled and start touring again.

they only use auto-tune for the last part of the acoustic rendition of phoenix can keep you and i think for the back up vocals on all the songs, as for the lead vocalist's voice its just him, i've watched tons of live videos of em and he can really sing like on the album

They put out consistently bad album art. Throw Up Your Hands For One Night Stands' art is probably my least favorite art of any album. But I may be jaded because I just hate that whole style of art on albums, shirts, etc. in general

you do know they are just joking around and being super sarcastic, its all apart of the show. if you took them seriously i dont know what to tell you. they have been staying with me everytime they are in chicago for the past couple of years, they are the nicest, funniest, down to earth dudes that just like to have fun on stage. YOLO!
