The Chiefs just kicked our ass. Larry Johnson is a horse ... and before you blame it all on Brady, 2 of his INTs werent directly his fault. But he had what was probably his worst game of his NFL career.

No, I'm sure throwing 4 INTs in the fourth quarter, or two after the 2 minute warning rank up there over this one. Or there's also the 4 INT day in Buffalo to start 2003. Every year he has that day where he just implodes for 3-4 picks. I love it.

Chiefs are a better team, and probably won't make the playoffs while NE slides in. That's sad.

I'll take his 2 minute drills, especially when they're in the Super Bowl, for one tough game a year. Oh and hey, dont worry about KC ..they just might get in anyway since Pittsburgh seems to be close to playing their way out.

His little screen passes to RBs to set up medium/long FGs? Piss on them, he tried dinking too much today to RB's. Similar to the Denver game, no offense in the first half, and the game's already over by that point. He stunk.

Do you know who Tommy Maddox is by any chance? Steelers have lost 2 games in OT with their 3rd string QB. Even if they lose to Indy, they could easily sweep to go to 12-4.

do you know who corey dillon, david givens, matt light, rodney harrison, richard seymour, dan koppen, kevin faulk and tom ashworth are? Put them together and they're a lot more important than "Big Ben", so stop making excuses because every team has them. Tommy Maddox is the same guy who led your team into the playoffs and won in 2003 too, so him and Big Ben have a lot more in common than you might like to recognize.

Oh, and beating Cincinati and Chicago are anything but easy.

Corey Dillon is awful this year. Evans and Pass have had better games than he has. Matt Light's not even good, and I hear NE fans brag about how Kaczur is playing. Seymour didn't miss much. Faulk is just another dink and dunk option that Pass and Evans can fulfill. Aside from the secondary, NE's injury problems are not that major. Tommy Maddox shitting the bed every time he plays is major, and it's the biggest reason they've lost two games. Maddox hasn't done anything since the 2002 season. He doesn't have the ability or confidence to QB a team anymore. He can't even manage a game, let alone make plays to win it.

Cincinnati at home? Carson Palmer will choke again against the Steelers. Chicago's offense is horrible. What's the thing they do best? Run the ball. What do the Steelers do best? Stop the run. It'll be a dogfight, but Orton sucks and Ben will make more plays than him. It's another home game they can win. You only need to score about 14 points to beat Chicago.

dillon's been hurt since the beginning, which is why he's been awful. He's only had 20 carries in 3 games and in those games he has 4 TD's.

Matt Light has been an anchor on the O-Line and those NE fans you say brag about Kaczur are probably doing so because the guy is a mid-round rookie who was converted from guard and is playing at a decent level. You forgot to mention Koppen or Ashworth, the other two best guys on the line besides Light.

By Seymour "not missing much", I hope you werent refering to 4 games, a quarter of the season ..2 of which were against Indy and Denver (where he could have been of obvious service).

Faulk's been a steady 3rd down back throughout the Pat's title runs and a major target of Brady's in the passing game who's been out since the beginning pretty much. You didnt address Givens either, who was the leading reciever on the team until he missed the past 3 games.

I didn't even get into Harrison. The Patriots have been decimated all season long by injuries. I'd call all that a lot more major than Tommy Maddox playing a couple games for Roethlisberger, who hasnt even passed for more than 250 yards but once this season (and that was again the sorry Texans).

Rushing TDs are just a product of getting touches at the goal line. Dillon could hardly break 60 yards in the beginning of the year. He's washed up. Evans and Pass have had some better results behind a "weaker" o-line.

I know Koppen is missed, but I've never seen anything positive about Ashworth.

Big deal, Seymour misses 4 games. What's worse, a DT missing 4 games or a starting QB? And NE wouldn't have beat Denver and Indy if Seymour was there. On the other hand, the Steelers would have beat Jacksonville and Baltimore if Ben was there.

Maybe Brady should look to do more than dink and dunk. That's all Faulk is there for. Those -1 yard pass plays can really kill drives, look at today. He's missing Givens, but I thought NE didn't have #1 or #2 receivers. You know, "Brady spreads it around so well". Not like that matters at all, but that's what the media wants people to hear. Gloat about not needing a #1 or #2 receiver, or don't. I wish Patsies would quit being such hypocrites.

The defensive secondary is decimated by injuries, and that's where they're hurting. That's where they're getting killed in games. Anything else is just poor execution and coaching.

Passing yards are overrated. Usually the games with the biggest yards come in losing efforts. It's all about efficiency, in which Roethlisberger leads the league in passer rating and YPA, much more important than hollow yardage stats. He's the only QB to throw 2 TDs in every game he played this year, and he only turned it over 3 times. They need him more than the Patriots need any one player they don't have.
